    Happy Easter to you two too,

    as an ad hoc easter gift and knowing how much you two love the stats heres a couple of Bells related stats for you:

    The men’s contest has been run for 37 years in a row and has seen 23 winners, 12 (52.2%) of whom have been crowned world champions.

    The women’s contest has been run 26 times (including this years- with a few gaps where they haven’t run it) and has seen 15 winners, 11 (73.4%) of whom have been crowned world champions.

    So if your a male competitor and you win Bells, your slightly more likely to win a world championship than if you don’t win Bells (so on this stat alone CJ’s 2001 triumph wasn’t a fluke)

    But if you a female competitor and win your much more likely to be crowned world champ.
