Hey Ceej or Damo. No offense to the Brazos or Basque locals, but dont you think those two events should be scrapped? or at least have a like 3 week waiting period for Mundaka. Its just not right that world title events should be held in waves that look like my local South Bay, Cali beachies (which at least have barrells and big punt sections). I think it should be more like tennis or gold with like 4 “majors” being Pipe, Chops, maaybe snapper and j-bay where more points and money is available and then maybe 6 to 8 other events. and PLEASE BRING BACK FIJI!!!! good luck CJ/DAMO, we need a goofy World Champ… Any other ideas of good consistant breaks that the tour should consider? WEst Oz, Steamer lane, Bali for sure, G-land? Anythoughts my fellow Goods fans

yeah, Andy, dude why is raglan not an event? Had great sessions there and its super consistant in summer or winter. you got manu and indicators, as well as that beachie about few K’s down the road. \if you from NZ and know a man named Miles Ratima, thats one of my good friends…

i hear the Search asked the raglan locals if they could take the even there but they told them to stuff off didn’t want it. don’t know how true that is.
they got a Girls CT event in Taranaki next april they should take the Wct there they’d love it lefts rights waves every where.

@albert FLORIDA is not WCT standard
However we have to have qualifying events in Florida/east coast as gotta have a great platform for the kids.

i hear you andy! dylan slater sucked (he was calling wrong the scores the whole time and he was commenting on “live action” when the replays where on…the guy was clueless) the only times it got interesting to hear was when the surfers got invited into the booth fred p and pat g …btw i think damos last wave was easy a 7.5

YEah man, indy rips, ive seen pics of her surfing perfect bali waves, she was just starting a few years ago when i went to Rags to surf… I ended up getting injured and couldnt surf, but its a beautiful country. Ceej/DAmo, thoughts on Raglan? have you guys surfed it? Andy, i think you may be right about the local thing, but shit if they can get contests done with the Hawaiian Mafia ummm i mean Da Hui, than you think they could. Also could be a perfect coldwater classic event?? Cj/Damo what is one place that you would like to see an WCT event every year that currently isnt on the list besides fiji or gland?

@dustin have you surfed Ship Wreck’s in nz? like rags a left hander north of Dorkland (Auckland)
can get really good long left point.
Also they are having a Womans event in Taranaki next year that is a great place to have a comp picks up heaps of swell and has lefts rights etc pretty easy place to run a comp always a wave there and they’d be up for it too.
