    CJ going Left, me on the Right. This was in the evening and wind had started to go bad so all the boats went in. We waited around and about 2 hours before dark it went oil glass, every wave was spitting right and left. Remember seeing Bobby M. go left and Kieren P. go right on the same wave and both got spit out of the barrel at the exact same time. The only other time I have seen a wave do that is at Pipe/Backdoor and it’s rare when the right and left spit at the same time, so I was freaking when I saw that.

    These days I freak if I even have the opportunity to paddle out, let alone surf perfect, spitting, aframes.

    Be sure to think of poor saps like me when you’re getting pitted off your noggins.
