after looking at all these educational articles on the new (rebel) tour, i figured it was time for us surfers to start thinking about how to present surfing to the masses?
this dudes huge in Japan and even if this isn’t it, atleast we got some wicked new claims to bust out.
That is spectacular. Leave it to the Japs to pull that one. Funny thing is he might have made more doing that than someone getting a 33rd at JBay. I’m interested once you guys can talk about it if you have been approached about the rebel tour personally? I know you guys have had a long standing relationship with ESPN, great long term tour results and although not the most progressive guys on tour definitely some of the best barrel riders with a nice bag of air tricks as well. If you guys had to pick 10 of the 16, who would you choose?
This is the best wave pool ever made why can’t someone just build something like this in the States. I will be there for sure. Also like when Erik tickles the floater seems pretty functional.
Seriously, that is the sickest wave pool in the world and they’ve closed it down. I’ve seen footage of head high tubes there! Ron Jon just needs to copy that pool and be done with it. Take an exact copy and plop it down in orlando. Boom. Problem solved.
I know it is a dream, but should have pools that mimic each wave of the world … i would be interesting, but still does not have the adrenaline of the local real …
If you could go into a barrel, pull some tennis balls out of your trunks when nobody could see, and get spit out juggling…now that would be the sickest thing ever, seriously.
Been on the web for an hour, and found nothing interesting. Then I come here and laugh my head off. You guys never fail! Keep ripping, you still have a few weeks until the next event.
Japanese love a good show…check out this contest, i cant understand one word they are saying and its still funny…i bet you cant stop watching at least till the semis maybe you could run it during the lay days in contests, i can see some serious gambling potential there http://www.spike.com/video/cats-carrying-fish/2748778
This is old school. I’ve been petting the kitty and tossing the pins for years to make it through heats.Took down Bennett in the Wild Rivers regionals ‘89.
This is what happens when you throw Australia’s best junior surfers in that same pool… Julian Wilson, Mitch Coleborn, Owen Wright, Jay Davies, Matt Wilkinson and Heath Joske going mad in the chlorine on an ASL trip in 2007. Boom. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-srTtMf2RI

@RydrHi it should never be picked it should be competition,we can never judge someones heart and competitive drive.
if people where being picked it would be an exhebition (xgames) what sets us apart from those sports is a world title.
when i watch sports the things that interest me are freaks, underdogs and great rivalries i imagine you dudes are the same way.
peace

Does rearranging your package while on a wave count as juggling? I’ve done that hundreds of times, tight wetsuits and all.
